OIEM Translator ("the app") is made by OIEM Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have.
Short version: You don't need an account to use the app. Your voice and text are sent to our translation services only to translate them, and are not used to build a profile of you. We use analytics to improve the app and to measure our ads. Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).
Speech, text and images you submit for translation. When you speak, type or scan something, it is sent securely to our servers and translation partners so they can recognize, translate and read it aloud. It is processed in real time.
Translation history on your device. Your recent conversations and translations are saved on your phone so you can see them again. You can delete them in the app or by deleting the app.
App usage and device information. For example, which features are used, how many translations are made, app version, device model, operating system, language, country (approximate, from settings or IP address) and crash information. This helps us fix problems and improve the app.
Advertising measurement. When you install the app after seeing one of our ads, our measurement partners help us know which ad brought you, so we can stop paying for ads that don't work. On iOS, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is only used if you allow tracking when iOS asks; if you don't, we only receive aggregated, anonymous results from Apple. On Android, the Google Advertising ID may be used unless you delete or reset it in your device settings.
Purchases. Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive confirmation of your purchase status, but never your card details.
What we do NOT collect: no account, no name, no email or phone number (unless you write to us), no contacts, no precise location.
The app asks for microphone access to capture speech for translation. It may ask for camera access only if you use a feature that scans text. You can turn these permissions off at any time in your device settings.
